42832 1950s Beattock

On a freight at Beattock in the early 1950s, 42832 has a snap-head riveted tender built with 2P 4-4-0 689, which ran with it between March 1950 and October 1955. It was a Carlisle Kingmoor engine from February 1936 until April 1963, when it moved to Fleetwood. Its tender has the small version of the first BR emblem, the cab numbers are 8in Gill Sans with the power classification 5 below and it has single air relief valves.
