41286 tops up its tanks at Middlewich while working the LCGB North West branch ‘Push and Pull Farewell Rail Tour’ on 5 February 1966. The tour started at Earlestown and went via Warrington and Middlewich to Sandbach, returning north through Altrincham and Ditton Junction to St. Helens and then back to Earlestown. 41286 was withdrawn at Sutton Oak in November 1966.
