Seen from the Rignall Rd Bridge, an up Sunday service approaches Great Missenden in 1939. In charge is LNER Class L2 2-6-4T No 6162, one of a class of 6 built for the Metropolitan Railway in 1925 by Armstrong Whitworth. Only two (6158/60) entered BR sevice both being withdrawn 10/48.
