Metropolitan locomotives and workings were not widely photographed possibly seen as lacking the 'glamour' of the larger companies in the London area. In June 1948 at Neasden MPD we see an ex-Metropolitan Hally 'K' (LNER 'L2') class 2-6-4 Tank No. 9070. Just visible behind is an LNER 'O7' class 2-8-0 No. 63188, later to become a 'WD' class No. 90509.
