There was quite a sizeable stabling point at Nottingham, By 1974 the stabling point had moved to the south side of the line in Eastcroft Sidings. The locos are standing on no.23 road, the most southerly siding. To the right of the locos is the Up Goods line which ran round the back of the depot.

As would be expected it housed mainly freight classes outstationed from Toton.

20001 was a pilot scheme loco and retains its smaller cabside windows but has lost its oval buffers.
