Hayes comments "The May-October 1975 Conditional WTT shows 8G10 as either the 10:51 SSuX departure ex-Coalville or the 11:14 SSuX departure ex-Overseal to Birchills Power Station, Walsall. Previous to this, it was booked to terminate at Bescot (arr. 12:41). 8G10 was booked through Lichfield around mid-day and took the direct route to Walsall (Ryecroft Junction) via Brownhill, which closed to through traffic in March 1984."
