Robert Waterman adds "The headcode says this going to Brighton - apart from the early morning papar train the Hastings line was fully dieselised by this date. Also the stock is Restriction '1' which was not permitted beyond Grove Junction south of Tunbridge Wells Central on the Hastings Line (Restriction '0' only was permitted between here and south of Mountfield Tunnel). "
