Ex-North British Railway Reid 'A' (LNER 'N15/1') class 0-6-2 Tank No. 69156. Built by NBL of Glasgow in August 1912 as NBR No. 919 and withdrawn in February 1962.

The late Ben Brooksbank took some wonderful photographs and this certainly derserves that adjective! This terrific September 1957 panorama of 69156 at Bathgate Marshalling Yard in West Lothian is looking North West towards Bathgate, Aidrie and Glasgow. Bathgate MPD is in the middle distance and the characteristic spoil heaps of this region are seen beyond.
