Contrary to popular belief the Scottish Region did maintain its coaling stages - this one has been completely re-clad in new timber - i wonder if it will ever get a coat of Creosote! The wagon supplying loco coal has C/Burn chalked on, would this be the supplying colliery and if so it is probably Coalburn, South Lanarkshire.
