Two locomotives for just two milk tank wagons , but it's just the start of this " Milk by Rail " duty and by the time that this daily working wends its way through Cornwall and Devon the load will have substantially increased as more such loaded tanks are added as it passes through Cornwall and then at such further locations as Plymouth , Totnes , Exeter St. Davids and Tiverton Junction , all with Westcountry milk destined for the Capital .
Laira's Shedmasters seemed to regularly favour putting a " County " on to this working in the days of steam , the afternoon working being double headed to Newton Abbot over the South Devon banks in view of its loading.
