67250 1952-08-16 Selby

The appearance of Selby Station is still relatively and thankfully unchanged even seventy years after this fine photograph was taken by William Hermiston in August 1952. One of Wilson Worsdell's fine ex-North Eastern Railway 'G5' 0-4-4 Push-Pull fitted Tanks No. 67250 is ready to depart with a local stopping train for Goole. 67250 was built at Darlington in Mar. 1895 as NER No. 1837 and was withdrawn in Sept. 1957.
