SR LN 4-6-0 No 850 Lord Nelson on an up boat train in 1938. Location appears to be just west of St Mary Cray Junction so approaching Bickley junction, not Petts Wood. However, loco is carrying headcode for the main line via Tonbridge and Orpington, so may have been diverted at the last minute via Maidstone East or Bat and Ball.
