No.58148 was one of the last two survivors of the Midland Railway 2F 0-6-0 class when it was withdrawn along with No.58182 in January 1964. It had been allocated to Burton in November 1955, and was transferred to Bushbury in April 1960 before moving to Coalville in March 1962.
