7033 1956c Teignmouth
On the milk train to London 7033 an Old Oak Common engine , heading back home on the afternoon Kensington milk train and pictured on the sea wall after having passed through Teignmouth . 7033 will have had a pilot engine over the South Devon banks but will have dropped it at Newton Abbot., its job completed there. The' Milk' will have started its run from Penzance with probably only a couple of tanks and will have picked up additional wagons on its way through Cornwall , and also at Totnes where there was an important creamery, and a couple of added wagons can be seen here behind the brake van. This working was always entrusted to a capable engine as this load was heavier than might be realised
