Technically this is a poor negative but certainly recreates the atmosphere of Paddington in the '50s and early '60s with spotters everywhere. It also demonstrates the difficult lighting conditions at Paddington with a strong sun causing serious issues long before digital imaging made everything so easy! 'Usk Castle' is carrying a 83A Newton shed plate so it is the summer of 1958 or '59.
