A fine study of Old Oak Common's 7017 " G.J.Churchward " on a sunny Plymouth's Laira Depot , the engine with a full tender having just been coaled following earlier arrival at Plymouth doubtless from Paddington and now waiting to be moved off the coaling line by the shed staff .
Old Oak have not cleaned their engine prior to its leaving London , and it is missing one of its valve spindle covers , 7017 remaining as an Old Oak engine until being condemned from that Depot in February of 1963 .
