A nice shot of 7030 " Cranbrook Castle " from Old Oak Common shown here running into the platform road at Newbury on the 3rd . July 1959 .The engine is recently outshopped from Swindon Works , receiving its double chimney during that overhaul there during the same month of this image .I'm not sure about hte Reporting Number but this may possibly be a working from the North down to the South Coast and 7030 would remain in service for a further four years , being withdrawn in early 1963 .
