5080, "Defiant", a Cardiff Canton engine for many years is seen here at Woodhams at Barry following withdrawal in April of 1963.
After nearly ten years at that yard 5080 was privately purchased by the Birmingham Railway Museum, initially as a source for parts, but happily has now been restored to running order.
