7015 1957c Bradford on Avon
Allocated to Bristol Bath Road at this period in time , 7015 , " Carn Brea Castle " is rostered to one of that shed's frequent "Castle "duties working between Bristol and the South coast via the Avon Valley line , seen here at Bradford on Avon.
Following an overhaul at Swindon 7015 was reallocated to 84G ., Shrewsbury from where it spent some while before as late transfer to Old Oak Common shortly before withdrawal in 1963.
Purchased after withdrawal by Coopers Metals , a Swindon Company with a small breaker's yard at Sharpness on the banks of the River Severn , 7015 in company with several other locomotives was subsequently " sold on " by Coopers to Cashmores at Newport for eventual disposal , probably because Coopers had more engines than they could handle with their limited facilities at Sharpness.
