Great Bridge, Golds Hill level crossing in distance. 5025 & 4966 were photographed being hauled by 92217 through Birmingham Snow Hill station towards Great Bridge on 25 April 1964. 5025 , "Chirk Castle" devoid of all visible means of identification except perhaps for a chalked cabside numberplate is clearly on her way to the breakers as her connecting rods are off, as are those of the two "Halls" and a rather clean looking "Castle" at the end. My records show that 5025 was withdrawn from Hereford shed in November 1963 and disposed of at Cashmores at Great Bridge.
