Old Oak Common's 7025 , " Sudeley Castle " comes through Teignmouth station on Saturday , 5th . May , 1956 doubtess heading home to Paddington and in rather grubby condition , so characteristic of Old Oak's engines at this period in time .
This was the first of my two visits to the sea wall here at Teignmouth , and two weeks later on the 19th . May 1956 it was a very busy Whitsun Saturday Bank Holiday , with plenty to see and record on film
