4089 1950s Dawlish
Laira shed's 4089 , " Donnington Castle ", a regular "Workhorse " at her home shed , and one of their first batch of the class , heads the up " Royal Duchy " which it will have taken over at Plymouth relieving the engine from Penzance at her home town , leaving at 2 .p.m. on this working.
4089 will work through to Paddington , and with an appreciable load behind her has probably taken on additional coaches from the Torquay line whilst stopped at Newton Abbot.
The sea wall and its walkway are busy on a nice dry day , but not everyone is interested in this fine sight behind them!
