One of our stalwarts at Laira at this time ' Donnington Castle' has been through Swindon Works and is on a local'Running In' turn here at Bath , working back to Swindon from Bristol prior to coming back home to Plymouth once she's passed fit for duty. Laira shed used 4089 quite frequently on the' Cornish Riviera' running down to Penzance and back and she seemed to be a favourite for such duties with the Running Foremen at Laira at this time.
