Laira shed's oldest " Castle " , 4077 " Chepstow Castle " has been turned out well on this day by her cleaners as she heads an eastbound working " up the line " here at Exeter St. Davids.
The stock looks to be somewhat of a mixture , and there are no roof boards visible so she may be heading up to Bristol on this working , rather than to Paddington .
Withdrawn in August of 1962 the engine's last two years saw it allocated to both Bath Road and St. Philip's Marsh sheds at Bristol .
