Peter Kerslake says Shed staff are busy getting 4075 Cardiff Castle ready for its next call to duty at Bath Road in 1957, with shed mate 6900 Abney Hall alongside. Built at Swindon in January 1924 4075 spent its early years housed at Old Oak Common before moving to Bristol, one of 15 Castles there at that time, remaining there until November of 1959 when it returned to Old Oak, and was condemned there in November 1961.
