7036 1950s Bristol Bath Road
A fine early 1950s portrait of Old Oak Common's 7036 "Taunton Castle" captured on film by the cameraman from the fine vantage point at Temple Meads platform on Bristol's Bath Road Depot, all coaled up, facing the correct way and doubtless being readied to return back to Paddington on a later passenger duty. She still has the original steam pipes and with its single chimney.
7036, like so many other members of the class, spent her last year at Wolverhampton Stafford Road , being withdrawn from there in September of 1963.
