BR 4MT 2-6-4T No 80135 arrives at Machynlleth with the 4pm Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth train on July 24, 1963.
Peter Kerslake says "Looking eastwards from the the station footbridge this view shows the 1960 built goods warehouse on the right which replaced the former rubblestone built shed which was showing signs of collapse.
The locomotive depot is hidden on the far right, designated 89C whilst on the Western Region but following transfer to the London Midland Region in January 1963 it later became 6F."
