LBSCR E4 0-6-2T No 32500 at Clapham Junction on 1 May 1955. There were 3 or 4 of these ex-Brighton locos allocated to Nine Elms for mostly shunting Clapham Yard as depicted here (plus occasional ECS to/from Waterloo). They were popular I am told by ex 70A enginemen for this work on account of their fast acting and powerfull air brakes. Bluebell Railway no. 473 (as 32473) was one of them in its latter days before withdrawal.
