Ex-Great Western Railway Hawksworth 'County' class 4-6-0 No. 1016 'County of Hants'. Built at Swindon in Mar. 1946 and withdrawn in Sept. 1963. A stirring departure from Chester sees 'County of Hants' laying down a fine, crisp exhaust in the winter of 1960. It is passing the former GWR shed of Chester West and BR Riddles 'Standard 3' tank No. 82001 is just visible on the left.
