Ex-Great Western Railway Collett 'Dukedog' class 4-4-0 No. 9017. Built at Swindon in March 1938 (as GWR No. 3217) and withdrawn in October 1960. A wonderful capture of 9017 charging through Machynlleth Station with a Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth train on a sunny day in October 1956.
