The forays of ex-Great Western Railway locomotives sometimes stray into unlikely northern territory. Standing in the yard at Leicester Central Station (at approx 1730hrs) is ex-GWR Collett 'Hall' 6911 'Holker Hall'. It had worked 1034 Bournemouth – Bradford to Nottingham Victoria but was unable to use turntable and returned tender first to Leicester where it was turned on the turntable in the “Up” side yard before returning to WR.
