The rear of Oxley MPD in Wolverhampton is the setting for this June 1964 photograph of ex-GWR Collett 'Grange' class 4-6-0 No. 6849 'Walton Grange'.

It makes an interesting comparison with the 1938 photograph I previously uploaded of the same locomotive in GWR days at Pontypool Road MPD. Built at Swindon in October 1937 it would be withdrawn in December 1965.
