London & South Western Railway Adams 'T3' class 4-6-0 No. 563. Built at Nine Elms in Mar. 1893 and withdrawn in August 1945 and preserved.

The absolutely glorious sight of 563 in Brighton MPD yard on a lovely April day in 1963. The late John Adams of 'Railway Roundabout' fame was the photographer and 1950s colour photography does not get any better than this.
