Deltic 1957-03-09 London Euston
The prototype Deltic waits to leave Euston with the 'Red Rose' on March 9, 1957.
Peter Kerslake says "It was allocated to Edge Hill from late 1955 and spent most of its time working between Liverpool Lime Street and Euston. At that time it was the most powerful single locomotive in service."
