In the Winter of 1970-71 with milk tanks from Cornwall. David J. Hayes comments A great general view of Kensington Olympia as it was in the early 1970s showing to good effect the Motorail facility on the left and milk traffic on the right. In the distance a Class 08 shunts milk tanks. At first glance, one would assume that the picture has been taken from the large station footbridge but has in fact been taken from the signal gantry, which can be seen in many of the pictures taken at Kenny-O contained in the Rail-Online archive.
