D822 1966-07 Exeter Central

It has just made the 1 in 37 climb from St David?s to with the 1O88 14.20 Exeter-Waterloo. It was the Summer of 1966 and the Warships were now fully in control of the ex-L&SWR route to Waterloo, two years into their tenure and five still before they were replaced by Class 33s. D822 was one of the Class never to sport maroon livery, going straight from green to blue in the Spring of 1968.
