D829 Magpie at Exeter Central circa 1967-8 in the maroon livery applied in January 1966. It shows the coaching stock roundel, the absence of the lining band and the repositioned red Route Availability disc. Other points to note are the positions of the Overhead Line Warning flashes and the additional horizontal grill above the nameplate.
