Plodding smokily through the centre road at Northampton Castle Station is ex-L&NWR Webb 'Coal Engine' 8155 at the head of a mixed freight. This photograph is dated Thursday 30th March 1933 and 8155, built at Crewe in Feb. 1888, has just another 18 months to serve before withdrawal in October 1934.
