The Fireman does a spot of ditch clearance from the cab of LNER J38 0-6-0 No 65913 on a coal train approaching Thornton Jn from the Westfield branch in c1965. This is the same location as 26023 on Pg 30 of 'Diesels in Scotland' by WJVA/KVA.
