LNER J38 0-6-0 No 65908 with coal from the Westfield opencast mine heading for Thornton Yard near Kinglassie in May 1964. The coal would be bound for either Kincardine or more likely Methil Power Station which burned this fine powdered coal. It is about to pass uner the overbridge and then pass Kinglassie Colliery.
