7847 1935-06-16 March MPD

Ex-Great Eastern Railway J. Holden 'Y14' (LNER 'J15') class 0-6-0 No. 7847. Built at Stratford in Oct. 1889 as GER No. 847 and withdrawn in June 1952 as BR No. 65366. A nicely lit broadside view if 7847 at March MPD in June 1935. It occurs to me (if no-one else!) that James Holden's 'J15s' and the ex-NER Worsdell 'J21's' have a striking similarity in outline. The forward position of the dome on the 'J15s' is the main difference.
