90168 1960s Kinglassie Colliery, Fife.
WD Austerity 2-8-0 No.90168 heads away from Kinglassie Colliery in the early 1960s. The wagons appear to be all empty so we suggest they are on the way to the huge Open Cast site at Westfield, near Ballingry. They certainly loaded both standard 16T and 21T open wagons there, as can be seen in a returning train behind 65908 in another image, taken looking the opposite direction from this same overbridge.
