The solitary ex-LNER Thompson 'A1/1' class 60113 'Great Northern' is waiting to depart from King's Cross Station in 1959. The story of Edward Thompson's rebuilding of this locomotive has been oft told so I will not add my two pennyworth no matter how tempting!
