5 1948 Chaloners Whin

A4 No 5 Sir Charles Newton comes round the curve from Chaloners Whin Junction with an up express (Flying Scotsman ?) with some of the streamliner carriages in 1948.
The loco received the livery shown here (Garter Blue with cut out metal numbers and tender lettering) in Jan 1948. Just 6 months later it was renumbered 60005 with 'British Railways' on the tender but retaining the garter blue livery.
