GWR Hall class 4-6-0 No 6949 Haberfield Hall departs from Penzance with the up Cornish Riviera Express on 9th July 1953.

Peter Kerslake adds "6949 was allocated to Laira and will take this working as far as Plymouth North Road, handing over there to the customary King for the onward non-stop run to Paddington. Both driver and his fireman are determined to get into the picture!"
