GWR Hall No 6912 Helmster Hall with the 8.55am from Paddngton on Landore West curve on 15 July 1961. The train is approaching Swansea Loop West Junction, heading from Swansea High Street station west towards Llanelly, with the south end of Landore shed just visible centre left.
The white bridge in centre of train being over the A4067, now B4063, Neath Road, just beyond which was the road leading up to the depot.

Hafod tip in the foreground is being removed. Landore (87E) steam shed was closed for conversion to a diesel depot in June 1961. 6912 would then have been allocated to 87A Neath Court Sart.
