Hall class 4-6-0 No 5972 Olton Hall arrrives at Lostwithiel with the up 'Cornishman' passing 0-4-2T No 1419 on the left, July 29, 1958.

Peter Kerslake adds "Reporting Numbers were uncommon on Cornish workings but Penzance depot staff have used a set on their own 5972 will work through to Newton Abbot or even all the way to Bristol Temple Meads on this duty, my recollection being that this was a working which did not change engines at Plymouth in either direction".
