GWR 43XX 2-6-0 No 8386 at ? in the 1930s. The 8386 was orignally 4386 altered in 1928 with a heavy buffer beam to give the pony truck more weight - the large insert is clearly seen. Although successful, the inital 4 converted locos - of which this is one, reverted to normal and regained their original numbers!
