5393 1951-05-14 Barmouth
43XX 2-6-0 No 5393 has just crossed Barmouth Bridge and approaches the town with a down train on May 14, 1951.
Peter Kerslake says "What a lovely setting with the opening metal section of the Barmouth bridge above the deepest section of the estuary clearly visible, together with the railings on the far left protecting walkers at the start of the pedestrian crossing of the bridge.
The former lifeboat station slipway is just visible below the fifth coach of te train."
