A late survivor of the ‘Aberdare’ 2-8-0s, no 2623 (shedded at Oxley 84B) seen at Leamington on 20th July 1946. Only 12 were inherited by BR but this locomtive was rapidly withdrawn in February 1948. The last (2667) went in October 1949.
